Is this a.....What Day is This?

So - I have been having some fun this week!  We went to visit family in the Bay Area and then to San Francisco.

I am going to share a few pictures today- and that will be that.

Morning Glory is leaving tomorrow and then life will be back to normal?

My nephew's daughter and Morning Glory in the Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park.

Pineapples, also found in the Conservatory of Flowers.

Coffee plant - imagine that!

Some hanging flowers - there were LOTS of those in the Conservatory.  Beautiful place!

And last but not least - a family of turtles crawling up out of a very slimy pond.

Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, CA.

  1. Those pineapples looks very familiar. I bought a pineapple a while back & planted the top and lo & behold I ended up with three new pineapples.

  2. cube - wow! you are kidding ! that is amazing! thanks for the information!

  3. Ooohhh... love the turtles!

It drives me crazy, Ms. Crazy that two of my favorite people were in San Francisco and I was stuck at home. You guys suck!

Did you do the Japanese Tea Garden? It's my slice of heaven on earth place.

Good pics! Okay, you don't suck. I do for being envious.

  4. Great pictures. It looks like you had a great trip to SF. I am going to make it out that way one day.

By the way, your blog RSS feed is working. It's a good thing, so don't question it.

  5. I'll be in SF next week.. Maybe I'll go see the slimy turtles...

  6. Glad you are having a nice time :-) Love the photos, especially the family of turtles and the greenest green water ever.

  7. to bask or not to bask, that is the question.

  8. first of all to everybody - i thought i commented on all of your comments - but i see nothing!

    i apologize!

2nd of all i am sure the missing comments were better than these comments - too bad, so sad

ananda - it is nice to be in san fran - the weather (cool and overcast in thesummer) is perfect for me - my new perfect place to live is Half Moon Bay -

we did not do the Tea Garden, sadly - but it is a boo-tif-ul place!

aliencg - you make me laugh right out loud - thanks for the RSS feed update! you will like sf when you visit - i am pretty sure anyway!

pamela - have fun in the city - the turtles are on a path the winds around to the Conservatory of Flowers - let me konw if you see them!

laura - thanks - always thatnks for being you and so upbeat and encouraging - and that water was so green it really wasn't hardly water at all!

billy - exactly! but they have to make hay while the sun shines - am I right?

  9. That slimy pond looks deceptively beautiful. And I need to buy some coffee plants...

  10. Sebastien - the pond really have very little water in it - or at least it looked that way - i did not get close enought to touch it. wouldn't it be great to have your own coffee plants? what fun that would be! thanks!
